The Donegal Association
Cead Mile Failte!One Hundred Thousand Welcomes from the Donegal Association.The purpose of the Donegal Association is purely a social vehicle whereby people with Donegal connections can get together to enjoy social functions as a group however membership is not to be limited to people from Donegal only. On April 29th, 1981 a group of people from Donegal now living in the Chicago land area met and founded the Donegal Association as a means whereby people with similar interests and backgrounds could meet for some craic (Irish word for fun). Here are some excerpts from that meeting.
